Instructions:
The Dual-Gard Mount assembly was placed forward
of the left front wheel well, underneath the mounting box for the battery. The
battery was removed so the bolt holes could be drilled in the battery pan for
attaching the dual guard mount assembly.
Limited clearance
around the Dual-Gard Mount precluded installing the oil sampling petcock valve.
To
maintain proper fitting clearance between the spin on adapter and the under engine
cover, 2 BK-11 fitting kits were purchased for the 2 short 90 degree fittings.

The distance and routing of the
hoses from the spin on adapter to the Dual-Gard Mount required purchasing four
feet of hose (BP-217)
The final installation
resulted in the entire system looking like it was installed at the ‘factory’.
I believe this installation procedure is applicable in almost any late model Subaru.
I have to thank Joe at Ron Price Subaru. His knowledge of
Subaru vehicles and skills in determining how to install the system in the vehicle
resulted in this extremely clean installation.
