The mounting location is on the cross member under the radiator at the right side of the vehicle. The owner wanted to mount the filters as high as possible because he does some off roading and was afraid of a stick or rock hitting them.

The right side was chosen as it gives adequate clearance for the filters. Note the spacers under the mount. These are the same thickness as the mounting plates shipped with the mounting kit. This prevents stress on the mounting.

A little white paint helps in laying out the template holes for the mounting.

This area also makes for a relatively short hose run.

This installation requires use of the BK-11 90 degree elbow fittings.
